Samsara, the 21-year-old trans pop trailblazer, is taking a powerful new step in her career with the release of “PUT ‘EM UP!”—a thunderous new single dropping May 30. The release comes hand-in-hand with her UK-wide school tour, which marks a historic move in music and LGBTQ+ advocacy.
The single follows her bold track “Strike III” and leans into the same unapologetic attitude. “‘PUT ‘EM UP!’ is about standing your ground and celebrating who you are—loudly,” says Samsara. The song’s charged lyrics and danceable beat deliver a message of empowerment, resilience, and joy for those facing resistance or erasure.
But Samsara’s latest move isn’t confined to studio recordings. With her school tour, she becomes the first known openly trans artist to perform and speak in high schools across the UK—using music and conversation to create safer spaces for queer youth. “I didn’t have someone like me growing up. Now I get to be that person for others,” she shares. 
Each school performance blends live pop music with personal storytelling, tackling topics such as identity, self-worth, and mental health. It’s a pioneering effort that puts inclusivity center stage.
