Latin funk trio DARUMAS—Aldana, Ceci, and Vedala—are back with an electrifying new era, unveiling DARUMAS+, the expanded edition of their acclaimed debut. Bursting with eight fresh tracks, the project sees the band refining and expanding the vibrant sound that earned them a Latin GRAMMY nomination just one year ago.
Leading the new chapter is the witty and infectious “Ex-Cusas”, a playful, funk-laced breakup anthem that flips heartache into empowerment. Wrapped in groovy R&B and brassy attitude, the single leans into clever wordplay—no exes, only excuses—and the accompanying music video adds surreal visuals to the mix, placing the trio in a psychedelic world of green screens and dreamy distortion.
DARUMAS+ includes recent standout “Puerta Abierta,” plus genre-defying gems like “Hollywood,” “Francotirador,” and “Wanna Be,” each offering a kaleidoscopic blend of Latin pop, funk, disco, and bilingual flair.
