Following their No. 1 debut EP, KATSEYE returns with “Gnarly,” a fierce club track out now via HYBE.
Global girl group KATSEYE returns with a bold new single, “Gnarly,” following their No. 1 debut EP SIS (Soft Is Strong). Released via HYBE x Geffen Records, the track is a gritty, high-energy anthem packed with heavy 808s, rave-ready synths, and a fearless edge that marks the start of their next era.
Produced by Pink Slip, Tim Randolph, HYBE founder “hitman” Bang, and Slow Rabbit, “Gnarly” captures the complexities of growing up in the digital age while being thrust into the spotlight. KATSEYE leans into the dual meaning of “gnarly”—blending raw chaos with unapologetic fun, echoing the group’s commitment to duality and reinvention.
“We want people to feel the vibes, to really connect with our music. ‘Gnarly’ feels true to us — it’s bold, it’s fun, and it shows a different side of what we’re about,” the group shared. “It feels good to share more of that as we grow alongside the EYEKONS.”
Directed by Cody Critcheloe, the official video premiered across MTV Live, MTVU, and Paramount Times Square, bringing their vision to life with striking visuals that blend reality and digital surrealism.
Fresh off two iHeartRadio Music Award nominations, a MAMA Awards performance, and campaigns with Fendi and Pepsi, KATSEYE is already proving why they were named a 2025 Artist to Watch by VEVO DSCVR and TIDAL.
With “Gnarly,” KATSEYE affirms their evolution as global icons building their own path—one that fuses rebellion with precision, and vulnerability with unshakable power.
