Eddie Benjamin shares intense new single “RUN!” with eerie video, setting the tone for his debut LP.

Singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Eddie Benjamin kicks off a bold new chapter with the release of his emotionally urgent new single “RUN!”—the second preview of his forthcoming debut studio album due later in 2025.

Written and co-produced alongside Alex Salibian (Harry Styles), “RUN!” is a groove-rich, genre-blurring track built on virtuosic R&B textures, raw electric guitar layers, and Eddie’s scorching vocal delivery. With unfiltered vulnerability, the song navigates the unraveling of a deep, dual emotional and physical connection.

“Why do you run, run, you run away / When our love’s brighter than the sun?” he pleads in the chorus. “Don’t run away from our love / It’s better when we’re one.”

“RUN!” ends on a stormy guitar solo that reflects the song’s internal chaos with both precision and freedom. As on January’s explosive lead single “MANIAC,” Eddie performs every instrument himself, underscoring his status as a one-man sonic force.

In his words: “don’t run from your emotions.”

The Mitch deQuilettes-directed video doubles as an eerie romantic thriller, with surreal visuals of Eddie in a stark high-rise apartment haunted by strange presences, blurring the lines between reality and reflection—echoing the themes of emotional flux.

Eddie Benjamin’s journey from co-creating with Justin Bieber, Shawn Mendes, and WILLOW to spotlighting his own visceral songwriting signals a transformative moment. “RUN!” further cements his place as one of music’s most emotionally dynamic emerging voices—and a debut album not to miss.
