Kassidy releases a fresh take on “Will I Ever Love Again” with Quebec rapper Loud via Universal Music Canada.
Rising pop artist Kassidy has unveiled a powerful new version of his breakout single “Will I Ever Love Again,” this time featuring a guest verse from Quebec’s own Loud. Released via Universal Music Canada, the track brings new energy and emotional dimension to a fan-favorite from Kassidy’s debut project Echoes of Myself – Volume 1.
Originally written in the aftermath of a major breakup, “Will I Ever Love Again” dives deep into vulnerability and emotional healing. “It talks about how in my relationship both of us weren’t perfect and there’s a question that asks, ‘Am I ready to love again or will I ever love the same way?’ I feel like a lot of people can relate to it,” says Kassidy.
The collaboration with Loud grew organically after the rapper heard the solo version and wanted to be involved. What followed was a natural creative partnership and budding friendship. Kassidy describes Loud as a “great, humble, down to earth human with big talent.”
The new track is accompanied by a music video directed by Andy Ziel, showcasing the two artists linking up in the studio. The video also features cameos from JUNO Award-winning and GRAMMY-nominated duo Banx & Ranx, longtime collaborators of Kassidy.
Currently on his 2025 Winter Tour, Kassidy has been performing the new version live, with fans singing along at packed venues including a sold-out show at Ottawa’s Bronson Centre while on tour with Jamie Fine. With streaming success like his 2.5M+ plays for “Along The Way” with Thierry Von Der Warth, Kassidy is building a breakout year in 2025.
