Viola Odette Harlow drops her album “P*rn Star” via Play Girl Records, alongside the music video for “Imaginary Friend”. Listen now.
Electro-pop visionary Viola Odette Harlow, formerly known as Glüme, unveils her new album “P*rn Star”, out now via her own label, Play Girl Records. The album arrives alongside the release of a music video for the single “Imaginary Friend”, a haunting yet introspective track that encapsulates the album’s deeply personal themes.
On “P*rn Star”, Viola crafts a unique blend of electro-pop, synth-pop, and indie-pop, weaving together dreamy soundscapes and deeply evocative storytelling. The album explores themes of self-discovery, resilience, and identity, making it her most dynamic and thought-provoking work to date.

“‘”P*rn Star” is a fairy tale, a tragedy, and a love story,’” Viola shares. “‘It’s about choosing kindness when misunderstood, finding power even when no one is rooting for you, and knowing that you are enough to set yourself free.’”
Her new single, “Imaginary Friend”, delves into themes of lost possibilities and self-acceptance. “‘I often wonder if I had a time machine, could I have changed my path? But erasing the past would mean erasing myself. Every hardship has shaped me into who I am today,’” she reflects.
Beyond music, Viola is set to release her debut book, “No One Famous Has It Yet”, on March 31, adding another chapter to her ever-evolving artistic journey.
