SOFI TUKKER breathe new life into Passion Pit’s beloved track with Sleepyhead 2025, a reimagined version of the platinum hit that first captivated listeners over a decade ago. Out now via Animal Talk Records, this modern take blends SOFI TUKKER’s signature electronic production with the original’s nostalgic essence.
For the Grammy-nominated duo, Sleepyhead 2025 is deeply personal. “The original ‘Sleepyhead’ was one of my all-time favorite songs in high school,” shares Tucker Halpern. “I recently met Michael Angelakos, and after talking about how much the industry has changed since he released Manners, we decided to bring the track back for a new generation—without changing its spirit.”
The track has already received early support from John Summit, who played it during his Tahoe Experts Only set in February. This also marks the return of SOFI TUKKER’s label, Animal Talk Records. “We started Animal Talk in 2018, and we’re so excited to relaunch it with Sleepyhead 2025,” Tucker says. “This is just the beginning.” 
With their Vegas residency at Wynn Nightlife, major festival appearances, and more new music on the way, 2025 is shaping up to be another huge year for SOFI TUKKER. Sleepyhead 2025 is available now on all streaming platforms.
