Daniel Seavey embarks on a transformative new chapter with Second Wind, his highly anticipated solo debut album, out now via Atlantic Records. The 12-track project, executive-produced by Michael Pollack (Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber), blends early-aughts pop-rock influences with introspective songwriting and an optimistic outlook.

Describing the inspiration behind Second Wind, Seavey explains, “It’s about a boy desperately clinging to his youth while life is trying to force him to grow up. I started making happier songs, and my perspective shifted—I started becoming optimistic again.” The album’s lead single, “Lose Me Like You Mean It,” exemplifies this balance, pairing heartfelt lyricism with vibrant instrumentation.

Seavey spent much of 2024 previewing the album live, from a standout festival debut at Lollapalooza to supporting Benson Boone and Dean Lewis on major international tours. Fans quickly embraced tracks like “Gateway Drug,” “The Older You Get,” and “Other People,” which have become early favorites.

After a decade-long journey in the industry—including six years with Why Don’t We, multiple platinum certifications, and over 6 billion streams—Seavey’s solo career has gained momentum. His 2023 Dancing In The Dark EP introduced his evolving artistry, earning praise from Rolling Stone and Billboard.

Now fully independent, Seavey launches the Second Wind Tour on March 18 in Dallas, TX, with stops in Los Angeles and New York. With Second Wind, Seavey marks a new beginning—one that is entirely his own.
