Jessie Reyez shares “Psilocybin & Daisies” and live session, previewing her new album PAID IN MEMORIES, out March 28 via FMLY / Island Records.
Jessie Reyez is back with another captivating single, “Psilocybin & Daisies,” the latest release from her forthcoming third studio album, PAID IN MEMORIES, arriving March 28 via FMLY / Island Records. Known for her raw storytelling and genre-blending sound, the Grammy-nominated and five-time Juno-winning artist continues to push musical boundaries.
The song, which incorporates a spirited interpolation of Smashing Pumpkins’ 1979, was written by Reyez and produced by SCUM (SZA) and Warren “Oak” Felder (Sabrina Carpenter, Lizzo). The live session visual, directed by Jon Primo (Doja Cat, Nicki Minaj), brings the song’s ethereal energy to life. Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan praised Reyez’s take on his classic: “She’s so incredibly talented and has that effortless, honest quality in her voice that I admire in the best singers.”
PAID IN MEMORIES features an impressive lineup of collaborators, including Ari Lennox, Lil Wayne, Big Sean, and Miguel. Previous singles like “JUST LIKE THAT” with Lennox and “JEANS” with Miguel have already garnered critical acclaim, further building anticipation for the album’s release.
Fresh off performances at Lollapalooza South America and The Magic Hour Tour with Jhené Aiko, Reyez continues to prove she’s a force in contemporary music. With over 3 billion streams and multiple platinum hits, PAID IN MEMORIES is set to be another defining moment in her career.
