Country breakout star Tucker Wetmore announces his debut album “What Not To,” out April 25, and releases the lead single “3,2,1.”
Rising country star Tucker Wetmore is set to take his career to the next level with the announcement of his debut album, “What Not To,” dropping April 25 via Universal Music Group Nashville. Wetmore shared the news during UMG Nashville’s Country Radio Seminar showcase at the legendary Ryman Auditorium, where he also previewed the deeply personal title track.
The 19-track album, produced by Chris LaCorte, reflects on lessons learned, love, and self-discovery, with Wetmore calling it a project that “connects all the dots” of his life so far. The title track, “What Not To,” is a poignant ballad about struggles, redemption, and faith, written with Jacob Hackworth, Chase McGill, and Jameson Rodgers.

To build anticipation, Wetmore has also released “3,2,1,” a radio-ready breakup anthem that will officially impact country radio on March 10. The track, penned by Josh Miller, Summer Overstreet, and Jordan Reynolds, tells the story of regret and missed opportunities with its clever hook: “three words, two late, damn girl, you’re the one that got away.”
With a Platinum-certified No. 1 single (“Wind Up Missin’ You”), an iHeartRadio Music Award nomination, and over 780 million global streams, Wetmore is one of the genre’s fastest-rising artists. He will join Thomas Rhett on the “Better In Boots Tour” this summer and play his first-ever headlining show at the Ryman on May 21.
With momentum at an all-time high, Wetmore’s debut album “What Not To” is poised to be one of 2025’s most impactful country releases. Pre-save now and listen to “3,2,1” today!
