Rising alt-pop artist Knox delivers another irresistibly catchy track with his latest release, “You Happened,” available now on all streaming platforms. The track offers a biting, yet upbeat breakup anthem, building anticipation for his debut album, Going, Going, Gone, which arrives April 4.
Knox draws from early 2000s pop-rock influences, pairing handclaps and crisp guitar riffs with lyrics that unpack the aftermath of heartbreak. The pre-chorus sets the tone as he candidly sings, “If I’m totally honest, I hate Tennessee accents and My Morning Jacket and Adderall addicts ‘cause you, you, you broke my rose-colored glasses.” The chorus follows with an infectious hook, cementing the song’s relatable energy.
His previous single, “Pick Your Poison”, went viral, amassing over 1.1 million Spotify streams and earning acclaim from Billboard, Digital High, and Melodic Magazine. Billboard noted that Knox’s witty songwriting and magnetic presence have made him one of the biggest surprises in pop rock. 
In 2025, Knox continues his momentum with his biggest US headline tour yet. Kicking off April 12 at Washington, DC’s 9:30 Club, the Going, Going, Gone Tour will take him across major cities, wrapping up May 10 in Nashville. With special guest The Wldlfe, this tour will showcase Knox’s high-energy live performances, setting the stage for an exciting debut album rollout.
