Rising country artist Hannah McFarland releases her debut EP Broken Hearts, an emotional journey of love, loss, and healing.
Emerging country singer-songwriter Hannah McFarland shares her deeply personal debut EP Broken Hearts, out now via The Core Records/Capitol Records. Featuring her latest single “Whiskey Into Water”, the Nashville-based artist delivers an emotional collection that explores the highs and lows of love and self-discovery.
Produced by Will Bundy (Keith Urban, Kameron Marlowe), Broken Hearts showcases McFarland’s warm, powerful vocals and raw storytelling. The project includes “Hey Highway”, which marked her major-label debut in 2024 and earned radio play on SiriusXM’s On The Horizon. The EP also highlights her viral hit “The Bed I Made”, a song that led to her joint publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music and The Core Entertainment.

McFarland describes the project as a way to help others feel seen: “The songs go through the lowest lows of heartbreak to the point of finding love again. I’d love for people to listen and think, ‘Someone else felt that, and made it through it.’”
The EP’s lead single, “Whiskey Into Water,” is a haunting ballad about witnessing a loved one’s self-destruction. With delicate piano work and achingly honest lyrics, the song captures McFarland’s ability to blend vulnerability with stunning musicality.
McFarland will take Broken Hearts on the road as she joins Dylan Marlowe and Conner Smith’s Did We Just Become Best Friends? Tour starting April 2, alongside performances at Country Jam and Boots and Hearts Festival later this year.
