Future debuts an emotional video for “Lost My Dog” from Mixtape Pluto. The release supports D.A.R.E. America via his Freewishes Foundation.
Future, the 3-time GRAMMY®-winning hip-hop icon, has unveiled the official music video for “Lost My Dog,” a standout track from his critically acclaimed album, Mixtape Pluto. Directed by longtime collaborator Henri Alexander Levy, the black-and-white visual captures a reflective Future as he processes the grief of losing a close friend to a drug overdose. The video’s emotional intensity is matched by some of Future’s most poignant lyrics to date.
As part of the release, Future announced a partnership with D.A.R.E. America, highlighting their initiatives and educational programs addressing substance abuse across the United States. Through his Freewishes Foundation (freewishes.org), Future is making a donation to the organization. In addition, Epic Records will also contribute to the cause, encouraging fans to participate by donating while watching the “Lost My Dog” video.
“Lost My Dog” marks the sixth video from Mixtape Pluto, following previous visuals for “Too Fast,” “Teflon Don,” “Told My,” “Ski,” and “Brazzier.” Released last fall, Mixtape Pluto made history as Future’s 11th No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 and his third consecutive No. 1 album of 2024. This achievement solidified Future as the first solo artist to achieve this milestone, a feat unmatched since The Beatles in the mid-1960s.
