Snoop Dogg, the global cultural icon, has released his highly anticipated album Missionary via Death Row, Aftermath, and Interscope. Produced by Dr. Dre, the project marks their first full-length collaboration since Snoop’s classic debut Doggystyle in 1994.

Missionary represents a milestone for both artists, showcasing the enduring chemistry that has defined their partnership. For Snoop, this album is the 20th in his legendary career and stands as a testament to his impact on rap and pop culture. More than just a collection of songs, Missionary is a cultural moment, celebrating the legacy Snoop and Dre have built while also ushering in a new chapter for the iconic duo.

Fans got a preview of the album through singles like “Outta Da Blue” featuring Alus, “Another Part of Me” with Sting, and “Gorgeous” featuring Jhené Aiko. The latter debuted on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart at No. 29, marking the duo’s return to the chart after 13 years. Snoop and Dre also teased Missionary during a live Drink Champs episode at ComplexCon.

Reflecting on the creative process, Snoop shared, “We [still] in love with what we do. I’m peaking right now and Dr. Dre see that. He brings the best out of me because he’s particular about everything I say, the way I deliver it, the fuckin’ music and the concept of the songs.”
