LA-based artist Arima Ederra releases “Oh God” featuring Mereba and “Really Tired,” exploring themes of catharsis and emotion.
Arima Ederra, the LA-based musician known for her ethereal R&B, has returned with two powerful new songs, “Oh God” featuring Mereba and “Really Tired.” Produced by longtime collaborator Teo Halm (SZA, Rosalía, Omar Apollo), these tracks channel years of pent-up emotion into a profound spiritual release.
Arima gave fans a preview of “Oh God” during her October tour with Ravyn Lenae, performing across North America in iconic venues such as Webster Hall in New York and The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles. Both tracks capture a raw emotionality, setting the stage for more new music from the artist in 2025.
This release marks Arima’s first solo work since her 2022 debut album, An Orange Colored Day (AOCD), which NPR praised as “a weightless form of R&B that simmers in the ether like incense.” Spanning four years of development, AOCD weaved recorded voice memos with deeply personal reflections, transitioning between youthful imagination and adult realities. The album’s themes were inspired by Arima’s upbringing as the daughter of an Ethiopian refugee father, offering listeners a poignant narrative of self-discovery and growth. 
With “Oh God” and “Really Tired,” Arima Ederra continues her tradition of blending spirituality and storytelling into her music. Both tracks are now available to stream, and fans can look forward to more from Arima in the near future.
