Montreal’s Olivia Khoury unveils “Fall Forward,” a genre-bending track tackling self-judgment, resilience, and personal growth.
Montreal singer-songwriter and interdisciplinary artist Olivia Khoury has shared her latest single, “Fall Forward,” offering an introspective look into her artistic evolution. This release follows her acclaimed 2023 EP, Portraits, and marks an exciting new chapter in her journey as an artist.
“Fall Forward” showcases Olivia’s talent for blending live instrumentation with high-quality production, a result of her collaboration with Reno McCarthy, who also produced Portraits. The track gradually builds, culminating in an electrifying outro featuring bold vocals, dynamic guitars, and live drums by Olivier Guertin.

Lyrically, Olivia envisions her mind as a courtroom, delving into themes of self-judgment and personal accountability. She poses the poignant question: “How can one defend oneself when the line between self-critique and inner truth begins to blur?” This honest exploration of resilience and self-reflection resonates deeply, particularly in light of recent global challenges.
Informed by her Caribbean and Lebanese heritage, Olivia’s music defies genre boundaries, inviting listeners to interpret her sound for themselves. With her unique approach, she continues to expand her artistic vision, seamlessly blending influences to create something truly original.
Adding to the excitement, Olivia will make her London debut with a headline show on November 28th in Holborn, introducing her music to a wider audience.
