GORDO and TECH IT DEEP release their reimagined “Maria Maria” on November 8, with Afro-house rhythms and a fresh club vibe.

Grammy-nominated producer GORDO has joined forces with longtime friend TECH IT DEEP for a new take on “Maria Maria,” set for release on November 8 via TECH IT DEEP Records. This fresh rendition of the classic hit from Carlos Santana, Product G&B, and Wyclef Jean, celebrates the original’s Latin flavor while transforming it with rich Afro-house beats, making it perfect for clubs and festivals alike.

The original version of “Maria Maria,” released in early 2023, became a global success, achieving over 80 million streams and earning Silver certification in the UK. GORDO’s rework retains the iconic Latin guitar and stunning vocals, giving it a new depth with rolling percussion, subtle piano stabs, and an ethereal atmosphere.

GORDO reflected on the collaboration, saying, “This release has been a long time coming… ‘Maria Maria’ has been a part of my sets for a while now, and it’s become one of those tracks that truly reflects my vibe and connects with the crowd. TECH IT DEEP and I go way back; he’s one of my oldest friends, so this collaboration felt like it was meant to happen. I can’t wait for everyone to experience it the way I do.”
