Amber Mark’s latest single “Sink In” combines jazz piano, Jersey club vibes, and after-hours groove, teasing her new EP.
Amber Mark returns with her captivating new single “Sink In,” a smooth, genre-blending track crafted entirely by the artist herself. Written, produced, and performed by Mark, the track weaves jazz piano, Jersey club beats, and a sultry vibe that captures an intimate after-hours mood.
With its release under PMR / Interscope Records, “Sink In” serves as the first look into Mark’s upcoming EP, available for pre-save now.
The song opens with a hypnotic blend of looping keys and steady percussion, with Mark’s vocals setting the stage: “I’ve had enough of parking lots and innocence / Relax and let me light you up some incense.” Through double meanings and a playful exchange, she beckons listeners into her world. When she sings, “Don’t be shy, you know where I live / You could come knock on my door,” the sound of actual knocking makes the line pop, adding a touch of auditory realism.
Mark has shared her creative process with fans on Instagram, even featuring her cat Moosh in a behind-the-scenes clip, where she recorded Moosh’s purr to layer into the track. “Sink In” follows “Won’t Cry,” her recent soulful single, and precedes her upcoming EP, which she calls a “loose, sweaty, and a little dance-floor” project.
As Mark continues to reveal her evolving sound, “Sink In” is a bold, entrancing teaser of what’s next, highlighting her remarkable talent and distinctive voice.
